Ingredients
- • 2 chicken fillets, cut into slider-sized pieces
- • 1/2 cup buttermilk
- • 1 tsp paprika
- • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- • 1/2 tsp onion powder
- • Salt and black pepper, to taste
- • 1/2 cup flour [63 g]
- • 1 egg, beaten
- • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- • Vegetable oil, for frying
- • 3-4 Tbsp BBQ sauce
- • 1 Tbsp honey, optional
- • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- • 1 garlic clove, minced
- • 1 tsp lemon juice
- • Salt, pepper, and paprika, to taste
- • 2 slider buns
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes.
- Coat each chicken piece in flour, then beaten egg, then breadcrumbs.
- Fry in hot oil for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
- While chicken is still hot, brush or toss with BBQ sauce until coated. Add honey to the sauce if you want a sweeter glaze.
- Mix Greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Toast buns if desired. Spread yogurt sauce on the bottom buns and add BBQ-coated chicken.
- Serve immediately while crispy and saucy.
