Ingredients
Pudding
- • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- • 1/3 cup cornstarch
- • 1/2 tsp salt
- • 4 cups milk
- • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- • 2 Tbsp salted butter
Cream Cheese Mixture
- • 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- • 1/2 cup salted butter, room temperature
- • 1 cup powdered sugar
- • 8 oz whipped topping (or 2 cups whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks)
Oreo Crust
- • 14 oz package Oreos
- • 6 Tbsp salted butter, melted
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large pan, heat the milk until steaming. Slowly whisk dry ingredients into the milk.
- Continue whisking until the pudding thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
- Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla and butter.
- Transfer pudding to a shallow dish, cover with plastic wrap directly touching the surface, and refrigerate until fully chilled.
- Once chilled, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix until combined.
- Fold in whipped topping until smooth. Add chilled pudding and fold until fully combined. Set aside.
- Crush Oreos into fine crumbs and divide in half. Mix half with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9×13 pan.
- Spread pudding mixture over crust and sprinkle remaining Oreo crumbs on top.
- Decorate with chocolate eggs, peeps, green coconut, and chocolate carrots if desired.
