  • 2 small heads romaine lettuce or leafy lettuce
  • 500 g fries
  • 4 slices processed cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil, as needed
  • Oil, for frying
  • Salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, and roasted chicken seasoning, to taste
  • 2 heaped Tbsp yogurt
  • 2 heaped Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp ketchup
  • Salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika, to taste (for burger sauce)
  • 3 Tbsp yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • Water, as needed to thin
  • Salt, pepper, garlic, and chives, to taste (for herb sauce)

Instructions

  1. Mix olive oil with salt, pepper, paprika, roasted chicken seasoning, and garlic. Coat chicken well and marinate briefly.
  2. Beat eggs in a bowl. Dip chicken through the egg wash, then press into panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  3. Fry chicken in hot oil until deep golden brown and crispy. Drain briefly, then slice into pieces.
  4. Fry fries until golden and crispy.
  5. Make the burger sauce by mixing 2 heaped Tbsp yogurt, 2 heaped Tbsp mayonnaise, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika until smooth.
  6. Make the herb sauce by mixing 3 Tbsp yogurt, 2 Tbsp mayonnaise, water, salt, pepper, garlic, and chives until smooth and drizzleable.
  7. Assemble with fries as the base. Place cheese slices on the hot fries so they start to melt.
  8. Add sliced crispy chicken, torn lettuce, and diced tomatoes. Spoon burger sauce over the bowl and finish with herb sauce.
  9. Serve immediately while the fries are crispy and the cheese is melty.
