Crispy Chicken Burger Bowl with Loaded Fries

Ingredients
- • 1 chicken breast
- • 2 tomatoes
- • 2 small heads romaine lettuce or leafy lettuce
- • 500 g fries
- • 4 slices processed cheese
- • 2 eggs
- • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- • Olive oil, as needed
- • Oil, for frying
- • Salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, and roasted chicken seasoning, to taste
- • 2 heaped Tbsp yogurt
- • 2 heaped Tbsp mayonnaise
- • 1 Tbsp ketchup
- • Salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika, to taste (for burger sauce)
- • 3 Tbsp yogurt
- • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- • Water, as needed to thin
- • Salt, pepper, garlic, and chives, to taste (for herb sauce)
Instructions
- Mix olive oil with salt, pepper, paprika, roasted chicken seasoning, and garlic. Coat chicken well and marinate briefly.
- Beat eggs in a bowl. Dip chicken through the egg wash, then press into panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Fry chicken in hot oil until deep golden brown and crispy. Drain briefly, then slice into pieces.
- Fry fries until golden and crispy.
- Make the burger sauce by mixing 2 heaped Tbsp yogurt, 2 heaped Tbsp mayonnaise, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika until smooth.
- Make the herb sauce by mixing 3 Tbsp yogurt, 2 Tbsp mayonnaise, water, salt, pepper, garlic, and chives until smooth and drizzleable.
- Assemble with fries as the base. Place cheese slices on the hot fries so they start to melt.
- Add sliced crispy chicken, torn lettuce, and diced tomatoes. Spoon burger sauce over the bowl and finish with herb sauce.
- Serve immediately while the fries are crispy and the cheese is melty.
